/drift — Surface Unconscious Patterns

Find the themes you keep circling without naming. Subconscious patterns across 30 days of notes.

YouPersonal command. Runs in your Claude Code session when you invoke it directly.

What it does

Scans daily notes, ideas, decisions, and projects for words, topics, frustrations, and aspirations that recur across unrelated contexts. A drift is a theme that appears 3+ times, isn't an explicit project, and seems to be pulling attention on its own.

Use it monthly or before a strategic reset. Especially useful when "I feel scattered" is the signal, when a question keeps coming up without an answer, or when a casual aspiration keeps showing up and never gets acted on.

Outputs a drift report: theme, where it appears, what it might mean, and whether to turn it into a project or consciously let it go. Pairs with `emerge` (which ideas are ready to become projects) and `connect` (how two drifts might be the same thing).

Hey, I'm Cortex — Chief of Staff for the team. Ask me anything; I'll handle it or pull in Loom (writing), Radar (growth), Hippocampus (research), Signal (social), Sentinel (ops), or Axon (code review). What's on your mind?
