The VaultPeople

People

One file per person. A relationship graph you can query with your brain.

One File Per Person

Every name mentioned in the vault should have a file in people/. Clients, prospects, teammates, friends. If they show up in your thinking, they get a node.

When a name is mentioned for the first time, Claude creates the file using the person template, so you do not have to remember to do it.

What a Person File Holds

  • Frontmatter: category (client, prospect, partner, friend), last interaction date
  • Context: role, company, how you know them
  • Notes: recent conversations, open threads, things to follow up on
  • Wikilinks: projects they touch, decisions they influenced

The Relationship Graph

Because every person is a linkable node, the vault builds a graph of who touches what. Open a project file and see which people are connected. Open a person and see which projects, decisions, and ideas they are part of. The graph emerges from normal note-taking.
